Aangenaam! 🤝My name is Nina de Vries and I'm certified NT2 teacher (Dutch as a second language) currently based in Enschede, the Netherlands. With a background in Educational Sciences (BSc. and MSc.), I enjoy designing lessons and explanations that work. I teach in small groups (max. 8 students) or privately to ensure personal attention to their growth. 

As a freelance NT2 teacher, I teach private clients and for companies such as Taalswitch, Expat Center Twente and the University of Twente.

I also contribute to exam development and assessment at CITO. This job makes me knowleagble about what is expected of students on the official exams. I use these insights to help my students feel better prepared to face their exams confidently. 

Language, learning and learning about different cultures have always fascinated me. I enjoy reading about linguistics, running and dabble in quite a few languages myself. Being a student of languages keeps me sharp in my role as a teacher.
